Mr. Williard will talk about how during the last 30 years law makers have resisted adequately and equitably funding public education while removing barriers to funding private religious education. Last year more than $1billion in state funds went to private school tuition vouchers that are now available to everyone. Along with Mr. Williard, John Patterson, former member of the Ohio House and co-author of the school funding plan will also explain the plan, its roots, recent success, and the importance of the final step: full funding.
