Ohio lawmakers are considering legislation that will drastically impact voter eligibility and access. SB 153 and HB 233 – identical measures modeled after the federal SAVE Act – would make registering to vote and voting more difficult for many Ohioans. To help citizens understand what’s at stake, we will be hosting an evening with Sen. Casey Weinstein (District 28) and Rep. Derrick Hall, who will both discuss SB 153/ HB 233, explaining how these measures will affect voter registration, eligibility and access across the state, as well as other pending legislation.
