Join the LWVH Book Club Thursday, November 17th, at 7pm where we will discuss Make Trouble by Cecile Richards. She is the former president of Planned Parenthood, daughter of the late Governor Ann Richards, featured speaker at the Women's March on Washington, and "the heroine of the resistance" (Vogue)  Her book tells a story about learning to lead and making change, based on a lifetime of fighting for women's rights and social justice.  The meeting will be held at Deb's house--a change of our usual location!

Her address will be sent to you when you RSVP by emailing Kathy at: Kathy_Batt [at] yahoo.com. You don't have to be a League member to attend! Our meetings are informal and are usually at someone's home with snacks and wine.  Please let Kathy know if you plan to attend by sending her an email. Please RSVP!

In our Book Club we usually read about current political issues, biographies of world leaders, political history and social studies.
