HB 673 provides much needed additional funding for electronic poll books and equipment for county boards of elections.  It will provide funding to each county board of elections in proportion to the number of registered voters in each county.  Call Speaker Cupp at (614) 466-9624 and your representative to urge them to pass this bill. 

Electronic poll books are critical to the success of Ohio's secure elections. They:

• ease voter lines at early voting and election day by speeding up the check in process;
• allow poll workers to easily redirect voters in the wrong location to the correct polling place;
• notify poll workers if a voter already voted absentee or during the early voting period; 
• will allow Boards of Elections to update and maintain old equipment and purchase new technology that will alleviate cyber security concerns;
• AND HAVE MANY OTHER BENEFITS
