LWVO’s Lobby Corps Calls Return in August with a New Time

New Lobby Call Times:  the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM; the 4th Tuesday of each month at noon!
 
Thanks to everyone who filled out the LWVO survey so we could get your feedback about how we can accommodate as many League members as possible to continue to grow our Lobby Corps. Many of you shared that daytime calls were just not possible; just as many of you said that noon was the only time that you could make it! So we’re doing both—the 2nd Tuesday call will be at 7p, the 4th Tuesday call will be at noon. We hope to see lots of new faces; if you’re interested and haven’t yet already joined, check for the link in  the latest LWVO Weekly Update found in your inbox or contact LWVPA at lwvperrysburg [at] gmail.com.

For those new to the League, our Lobby Corps calls are where our LWVO Advocacy Chair reviews what’s happening in the Ohio Statehouse and elsewhere that impacts our policy priorities, what we’re doing, and tools for advocates to support League strategies.

Each League should have at least one member on the call, but many more are welcome. Members do not need to be part of their League’s Advocacy Committee to join / listen into the Lobby Calls -- any League member interested in what’s happening in the Statehouse (and there is always something happening) or who wants to just better understand how Ohio government works, will learn a ton.
