Topical Tuesdays:  Perrysburg has a historical jewel in our midst -- Fort Meigs Historical Site.  Ashley Phlipot, Executive Director for Ft. Meigs, will remind us of the importance of this significant and often misunderstood battlefield.  Be sure to register for the Tour at the Museum on 12/14/22 -- the next event on our calendar.  (Presented in partnership with Way Public Library.)

Board Meeting -- Members Welcome to Attend

Reservation deadline for the LWVPA's Holiday Luncheon is Thursday, 12/01/22.  Members, you should have received your invitation in the mail with registration information.  If you did not receive your invite, you may email your RSVP to lwvperrysburg [at] gmail.com.  The fee for the luncheon is $29.50.  We will be enjoying a baked potato bar, soup, salad, and dessert.  Social time begins at 11:30 AM and lunch will start at noon.  LWVPA member Jan Dixon will speak on the topic, Plant It and They Will Come.  We encourage you to bring a guest. 

Roberta DeBoer Durham will speak about foster kids you age out of the foster care system at age 18.  Her organization, Better Together Toledo (BTT), aims to help these young adults who are often suddenly without the support of either institutions or family to move forward toward a happy, productive adulthood.  (Presented by LWV Toledo/Lucas County.)
