August 18:  Anniversary of 19th Amendment Ratification

Our Sister League, LWV Toledo/Lucas Celebrates this Important Achievement!
 

Watch WTOL's Leading Edge program with Jeff Smith's interview of LWV Toledo/Lucas County members Ann Fabiszak Payne and Regina Vincent Williams, PhD, about the importance of voting and their upcoming August 15 event to commemorate the anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment.  (Their interview starts at timestamp 8:56.  The photo is of Alice Paul toasting the 19th Amendment.)

Virtual Meeting

Attention LWVPA Members interested in Voter Services:  Voter Services is the most important work we do at the League.  Each month, LWVO hosts a virtual meeting with members who are passionate about Voter Services!  Whether you are a member of LWVPA's Voter Services Committee or one of our members who just wants to keep up-to-date on Voter Services activities, these calls are essential.  Find the registration link at the bottom of the LWVO Weekly Update or email lwvperrysburg [at] gmail.com and we will send you the link.

Members-Only August All-Member Call 

Monthly call led by LWVO staff and board members to provide updates on what the state League is working on, share resources, and hear member feedback; often there are guests. Open to all LWVPA members.

LWVPA Members -- please volunteer for 1-1/2 hours (or more) to register voters at
at Owens Community College during the Air Stream Registration event!
 

This registration event is part of LWVO's Your Voice -- Your Vote -- Your Power Bus Tour!  LWVO will be parking an Airstream bus -- decked out in to catch everyone's attention -- at the Owens Campus.  It's a fun couple of hours with music, snacks, and, of course, registering voters!  Volunteer alongside other LWVPA members to hand out nonpartisan voting materials.  Email lwvperrysburg [at] gmail.com and we will be in touch with details including times available for volunteering.
