The League of Women Voters is sad to announce that one of our longest and loveliest League members, Peggy Huchet, died on Oct. 13, after a long illness with Parkinson’s Disease.
The LWV Charleston Area wishes to express our concern and confirm our support as we stand in solidarity with our local Black community and in support for our nation's best but, yet-to-date, unrealized goal for equality for all.
