Celebrate Earth Day by refreshing your understanding of climate change and what we can do about it. We’ll review the science, discuss local grassroots efforts to make policy changes, and compare notes with an expert from a coastal city that relies on tourism, has a booming population, and is surrounded by agricultural land: Christchurch, New Zealand. We can learn so much from other countries!
Along with members of Charleston's Climate Coalition, we will be joined by Grader Graydonsen, Sr. Analyst, Strategic Policy, Christchurch City Council, New Zealand
This program is free and open to the public, but you must RSVP by 6:30 on the April 19th in order to be sent the zoom link.
