This is a virtual candidate forum for the CCSD School Board District 6 Special Election candidates, and is sponsored by the League of Women Voters of the Charleston Area (LWVCA). 

Candidates Lee Runyon and Daron Lee Calhoun will have the opportunity to make opening remarks, respond to a series of question related to the CCSD school board created by the Charleston community and selected by LWV Charleston members, and will make closing remarks. There will be an opportunity for candidate rebuttals. 

We invite community members to submit questions for the candidates to charlestonlwv [at] gmail.com no later than Sunday, January 22nd.

You will receive a Zoom link to the forum after you register. The forum will be also be streamed on LWVCA's Facebook page and it will be available for viewing after the event on the League's website.

The special election will occur on Tuesday, February 7th.
