On Thursday, January 6, 2022, the one-year anniversary of the attack on our US Capitol, Americans across race, place, party, and background will stand united in defense of democracy and the right of voters to determine the outcome of elections. The League of Women Voters of the Charleston Area will hold a March for Unity across the Ravenel Bridge, beginning in the Mt Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park.

 

We will meet at 8:00 am. Signs will be provided. Please rsvp below; only 50 people may march. As with all of our events, this is non-partisan, please do not wear partisan attire.
