Write Vermont Legislators to set priority for Universal Primary Care

Woman writing her Vermont Representatives

Please write your Vermont State respresentatives to pass universal primary health care in the legislative session beginning soon in January.  Our state legislators will be meeting December 2nd to set their party priorities.

The League has long been a proponent of universal, publicly funded health care.  Last session H.248/S.53, which calls for universal, publicly funded primary care for all Vermonters was not passed before the session ended.

On behalf of the LWV Vermont board, Catherine Rader has this letter in support of universal primary care to members of the Vermont House and Senate Health Care Committees, the Speaker of the House, and the President pro tem of the Senate.  Let's amplify the voice of the League with our own letters.
