On June 14 Gov. Scott signed into law S.8, the bill establishing an ethics commission for the state of Vermont.  After being dropped by the Senate,  a member of the LWV was restored to the Commission in the House version of the bill, as signed by the Governor.

Madeline Motta, LWVCEN, has been appointed by the LWVVT board to serve on the Commission. She is an attorney and professional ethics consultant.
