Again we mark the passing of a League stalwart . Ellen Blumberg, 76, died in her home in Thetford Sept 4, 2017.

Ellen was a lifelong advocate for voter registration and education with the League of Women Voters, and was a key part of the volunteer group that organized the 1984 vice presidential debate between George Bush and Geraldine Ferraro. 

After the Blumbergs moved to Thetford, Ellen continued her involvement with the LWV, where she was the long-time Treasurer of the LWV Upper Valley In April she joined NH and VT state . League leadership in a meeting with potential members of a renewed Upper Valley League.
