The LWV-VA Board has voted to approve the recommendations from the LWV-WA "Decline of Local News" study and to request the LWVUS to prioritize climate change as a focus area at the 2024 LWVUS. At our January 21 meeting, we will to determine whether or not to include these items in the survey response. The LWV-VA Program Report provides the details on these recommendations. The full “Decline of Local News” study is available on the LWV-WA website: lwv-wa.org.
