Join us on March 3 for an important program for all Falls Church City residents. Cindy Mester, Deputy City Manager for Falls Church City, will walk us through the budget process, explaining what is included in the budget and how it is developed.
The FY2023 Budget for general government and schools will be presented to the City Council on March 28, 2022. The Budget Guidance Statement is a means for the governing body to set priorities and policy direction as the FY2023 Operating Budget and capital improvement program (CIP) are developed over the coming weeks. Priorities include investment in the City workforce, multi-modal transportation, public safety, communications, safe construction and development, parks, affordable housing, education and schools, and stormwater issues. Come learn about what is included in the budget, how it is developed, how it is funded, and how to provide your input.
