How Recognition will be Made: At a minimum, the board will recognize the member by signing a card and mentioning the member in the board minutes, as well as mentioning the person and the recognition in the newsletter.

Who will be Recognized:

• Any member who has served in the League of Women Voters for 50 or more years, this recognition will be in addition to what has taken place
• Any member who steps down from serving on the board
• Death of an active member, when that death is known to the board
• Any board member who goes above and beyond their role on the board

The membership chair will purchase several cards to use for recognition so that they are available to the board when needed. The purchase will be reimbursed by the treasurer.

If the board, or any member of the board, wishes to show recognition with a gift, such as a gift card, that gift may be purchased either by donation earmarked for that purpose or board approval.
