The League of Women Voters - Whitewater Area members, students, and community members joined in helping us celebrate the League of Women Voter's 103rd Birthday. Our goal was to obtain 103 birthday wishes, and though we fell short of our goal, we had a festive time trying! We requested birthday greetings via social media, email, and at our tabling events.

The in-person side of this event took place at the Irvin L Young Memorial Library and at the UWW University Center (made possible through the support of the UWW Aspiring Educators Association).

For 6 hours, four League volunteers staffed voter information tables, continuing our 103-year effort to provide materials and understanding of the voter registration process. These one-on-one connections, plus a table full of swag and chocolate candy, made for an enticing attraction. Almost 50 interactions took place in total.

A huge thank you to Julia Ross for contacting the library and the UW-W Aspiring Educators Association to set up locations to table at and arrange for volunteers. Thanks to Linda Holmes and Julia Ross, who staffed the Library tables. And thanks to Kathy Brimmer and Jean Eichman, who were stationed at the University table. It was a thoroughly enjoyable team effort.
