Once again the League of Women Voters-Whitewater Area is delighted to help strengthen our democracy by participating in the National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday September 28, 2021. We are holding three tabling events that day. 

• 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., Irvin L. Young Memorial Library (431 W. Center Street, Whitewater)
• 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., Dwight Foster Public Library (209 Merchants Avenue, Fort Atkinson)
• 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Whitewater City Market at the Train Depot (301 W. Whitewater Street, Whitewater)

The National Voter Registration Day is a non-partisan nationwide event seeking to increase civic participation by encouraging Americans to register to vote and making sure everyone has the opportunity to vote. Have you recently moved? The League will be at the above three sites to provide you with what you need to register to vote whether on paper or online. Our next local election takes place early in 2022. Please take the time now to be sure your voter registration is up to date. We look forward to seeing you soon.
