March 5, 2024 Election Results

Your Vote Counts

The March 5th California Primary Election is in our rearview mirror. Of the 74,321 registered voters in Nevada County, 39,579 cast their votes (53.25%). For the League of Women Voters this voter turnout is disappointing as , we strive for 100% of voters to cast their ballots, however, we are well above the state voting statistic in which only 34% of voters cast their ballot. We have our work cut out for us in the upcoming November election to increase voter participation!

Thank you to Natalie Adona, Nevada County’s Registrar of Voters, and her excellent team for a successful election.
