Three Ways to Vote


1) Vote by Mail (VBM): 

DuPage County Vote By Mail (VBM) Checklist

  • Sign up for Vote by Mail (VBM): Complete online VBM application.
  • Election Division begins mailing VBM ballots on Sept. 26
  • Complete ballot as soon as possible, place in the postage-paid envelope, seal, date & sign the envelope with the signature you use to vote.
  • Return ballot:
    • Mail ballot (must be postmarked by Nov. 5 ) -OR- 
    • Place ballot in DuPage County secure drop box by Nov. 5  -OR- 
    • Take ballot to any Early Voting or Election Day Site
  • Track your Vote By Mail ballot – sign up for Ballottrax:Tracking Vote by Mail Ballot.

2) Vote Early: 

Sept 26 – First day to vote at the DuPage County Fairgrounds and four additional sites
Oct 21 – Early voting at all DuPage County early voting sites

3) Vote on Election Day - Tuesday, Nov 5, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM 

Find your home precinct polling location at DuPage County Election Division. Click on the red “Check Voter Registration Status/View Sample Ballot” box and then search by Address. DuPage voters can vote at their home precinct polling location or any other polling location on Election Day.

 

If you are already registered, no ID is required to vote unless you are voting for the first time and have registered by mail without verification. ​
