Annual Meeting, Elections, and Lobbying Your Elected Officials -The Receiving End

The League of Women Voters of Monterey County will hold our Annual Meeting in-person on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
 
We need a quorum to conduct the business of electing a new Board, approving the budget and adopting areas of emphasis for the coming League year.  Please plan to attend!
 
Registration at 11:00   Annual Meeting at 11:30  Lunch is at 12:00 and Speakers at 12:30
 

There will be a free talk titled "Lobbying Your Elected Officials -The Receiving End."  The speakers are Mary Adams, former Monterey County Supervisor and Gail Morton, former Marina City Councilmember.

The "Lunch and Learn" Meeting will be held at at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 490 Aguajito Road  Carmel CA 93923 

Registration at 11:30    Lunch is at 12:00 and Presentation starts at 12:30.

Lunch costs $25 per person and payment is at the door by cash or check. Lunch includes grilled salmon, rice, Greek salad, hummus, pita bread and baklava for dessert. Catering by Chef Faris Nimry, International Cuisine of Pacific Grove. 

Reservations for lunch are required!
