Join us to learn what is behind the California ballot initiative popularly characterized as “voter id” and why the League of Women Voters of California strongly recommends a “No” vote on this proposition on the November 3, 2026 ballot.
Our speaker is Carol Moon Goldberg, immediate past president, and current vice president, of the League of Women Voters of California (LWVC) and its related Education Fund. Her current position on the Board involves the advocacy and legislative work of the League.
The "Lunch and Learn" Meeting will be held at at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 490 Aguajito Road Carmel CA 93923
Registration at 11:30 Lunch is at 12:00 and Presentation starts at 12:30.
Lunch costs $25 per person and payment is at the door by cash or check. Lunch includes grilled salmon, rice, Greek salad, hummus, pita bread and baklava for dessert. Catering provided by Chef Faris Nimry, International Cuisine of Pacific Grove.
