Volunteer opportunities

LWV Nevada County Treasurer for the 2025-26 year

This position requires about three hours per month. The primary responsibility of the treasurer is to oversee the management and reporting of our finances. Duties include bank account maintenance, submitting a monthly finance report, payment of invoices and professional dues, and developing the annual budget with input from committee heads.This is a Board position and requires computer literacy and comfort with online payment platforms. LWV Nevada County Local Impacts Research Volunteer

There are several ways Executive Orders and other government actions have directly effected services and resources in Nevada County. Things are dynamic - changing every day.
