Orange Coast Is Helping to Recruit Poll Observers

Election observers are people who observe various steps in the election process. In doing so, members of the public can provide independent verification of election results’ accuracy and counter attempts to discredit elections.

By volunteering as an observer, you can make a difference by creating a public record of how voting sites operate, leading to increased trust in election outcomes.

We are recruiting LWVOC members who wish to observe at a voting site. If you think you might be interested, contact Anne Stone at membership [at] lwvorangecoast.org.  The first planning meeting is scheduled for September 8th.
