What happened to Lunch with League?

Coast Speaker Events

As you may know, we’ve been trying to resume our speaker events (formerly known as “Lunch with League”).  We have renamed these events to “Coast Speaker Events” as we’re experimenting on various times/days to schedule (with and without food) for optimal attendance.  We had hoped to start “in-person” events, but alas, Covid had other ideas.  For now we remain on Zoom.

The last event (on October 26th ) was a well received presentation by our new Orange County Registrar of Voters, Bob Page, on"How Voting in the 2022 General Election is Easy and Secure".  If you missed this event and would like to see it, please send an email to the Communication address below.

Our next event is on Wednesday, November 30th at 7:00pm. on Zoom.  The speaker is Adena Ishii.  Adena is a long-time League member who serves as Director on the League of Women Voters California state board and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) Committee.  The topic is “Diversity Equity, Inclusion (DEI):  What Comes Next?”  We hope to see you there!
