Orange Coast Lunch with League was fortunate to host Dr. Anthony Szczurek in August.   Anthony has taught Political Science at Saddleback since 2020; including courses in Feminist Theory, International Relations, Political Theory, and Power, Resistance and Empire.  He researches the international climate politics of the Global South and how perceptions of time affect political decision-making.  He received his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in International Affairs from The New School and a Ph.D. in Political Thought from Virginia Tech.  
 

His topic at LWL , "Climate as an electoral issue", provided understanding and data about climate change and the most critical issues involved in this next election.
