Learn about Ranked Choice Voting and the citizen led movement to bring this must-have election reform to our state. Jonathan Perloe of Voter Choice CT will lead an educational forum that will begin with an overview of our current “plurarity voting” system, then explain how Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) works and why it gives voters a better way to express their preferences and produces more representative election outcomes. His presentation will cover the growing use of RCV around the nation and respond to the more frequently raised concerns about RCV. Jonathan will also provide an update on proposed legislation before the CT General Assembly and explain how attendees can help the effort to bring RCV to CT. This will be followed by Q&A.
