The LWVAC Matheson Museum Partnership Committee and the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Committees are hosting a combined meeting at Janice's house. They will be discussing our involvement in the Voice and Votes exhibit at the Matheson and our GOTV efforts. Contact Janice if you would like to attend.

LWV of Alachua County is proud to partner with the Matheson History Museum on their Voices and Votes exhibits.

You're invited to the Opening Reception for the Smithsonian traveling exhibition, "Voices and Votes: Democracy in America!" at the Matheson Museum.

This League at the Library event will take place at the Tower Road Branch Library and will be an outdoor event. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to man the table.

During LWVAC's 2024 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Campaign for the 2024 Election Season, the Voter Services team is organizing multiple Alachua County Library tabling events. The goal is to have a table at each of the 12 libraries once a month for 2 hours at peak times until November. We hope to increase League visibility and engage with current and potential voters, especially young people.

August 8 at 5:00 p.m. is the deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot for Florida's August 20 Primary Election.
