of Alachua County

This League at the Library event will take place at the Hawthorne Branch Library and will be an indoor event. We are looking for 2-3 volunteers to man the table.

During LWVAC's 2024 Get Out the Vote (GOTV) Campaign for the 2024 Election Season, the Voter Services team is organizing multiple Alachua County Library tabling events. The goal is to have a table at each of the 12 libraries once a month for 2 hours at peak times until November. We hope to increase League visibility and engage with current and potential voters, especially young people.

Join Yes on 4 and LWV for our weekly phone bank session where you will connect to voters via phone call to invite them to take action and support Yes on 4 this election cycle.

Join Yes on 4 and LWV in Gainesville for our Get Out the Early Vote Canvass as we go door-to-door to end Florida’s extreme abortion ban! Every day during Early Voting, we will be going door to door in Gainesville to talk to voters about supporting Amendment 4 and inviting them to vote at their local Early Voting site. Multiple shifts are available. No experience is necessary and our team will be providing you with training and materials during the event.

Our next Meet and Mobilize (M/M) push will be canvassing in area neighborhoods to educate voters about issues on the ballot and encourage them to get out and vote.
