LWV of Alachua County is joining LWVFL in supporting the Florida Right to Clean Water campaign (RTCW), which is a constitutional amendment to clarify our priorities and a civil action to enforce our right to clean and healthy waters. The mission is to take this to Florida's voters; to educate them, to collect their petitions, and to ensure their voice is heard.

At the Great American Cleanup, volunteers will circulate through the crowd with petitions. Please vote [at] lwv-alachua.org (contact Voter Services) to volunteer. 

The Great American Cleanup is a nationwide litter cleanup event. Guests will arrive a Massey Park to pick up supplies (grabbers, gloves, trash bags, etc) and be designated off-site cleanup locations. We will return to the park at noon for volunteer appreciation with prizes, food, and more!
