The Frederick County League of Women Voters were recognized by the County Council and County Executive Jan Gardner on Tuesday in honor of their award-winning work on ethics reform in Frederick County. The League was the winner of the 2019 Madeline Naumann Achievement Award for their efforts in helping to shape the county's Ethics Commission. The award is given by the The League of Women Voters of the National Capital Area (LWVNCA) every two years to recognize outstanding local leagues.
