ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
Our Annual Membership Meeting will be held on April 19, this Saturday, at 1:00 p.m. at the Thurmont Public Library. All members are welcome to attend.
Our bylaws require such a meeting:.
Sec. 2. Annual Meetings. An Annual Meeting shall be held between April 1 and May 30, the exact date to be determined by the Board of Directors. The Annual Meeting shall:
- Adopt a local Program for the ensuing year;
- Elect Officers, Directors and members of the Nominating Committee;
- Adopt an adequate budget; and
- Transact such other business as may properly come before it.
Members have received an email with Workbook which contains the Agenda and the items to be discussed.

We need to have 20% of our membership attend the meeting in order to complete the work required. I know there is a Rally/Party at Hill Street Park for Protectors and Defenders of Democracy, but this work is equally important to making sure the work defending democracy continues. 20% stands at about 21 members as of today.
