The Natural Resources Committee of the League of Women Voters of Falmouth will host a public presentation on Coastal Resilience.

Vernal Pool

LWVF proposes to plant a grove of ten Tupelo trees, one for each decade, at a restored vernal pool at Peterson Farms.  This is to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution and the founding of the League of Women Voters.

In June 2019, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that partisan gerrymandering is a political question because no fair test exists for courts to determine when partisan gerrymandering has gone too far.
