The scene is Nashville in August, 1920, the Presidential election weeks away, and one last state is needed to ratify the 19th Amendment, enfranchising all women: over 70 years of struggle by three generations of women comes down to Tennessee, as the forces both for and against woman suffrage gather for one of the pivotal political battles in American history.
Elaine Weiss, Award-Winning Journalist and Author will be giving this Falmouth Forum lecture co-spsonsored by the Falmouth League of Women Voters.
