A study concerning the Structure and Process of the Michigan Legislature Limited to Lame Duck Session was approved by the delegates at the 2019 LWVMI convention. A committee of twelve League members  from all over the State (Donna Crudder is representing the Ann Arbor Area league and its geographic units Brighton-Howell and Tecumseh) has started working on the study and we are currently waiting for board approval of the scope. The committee will work throughout the winter and hope to present consensus questions to the membership next summer. League members will have plenty of time to study the issue and arrive at consensus, since the responses won’t be due until March of 2021.”
