Graphic designer Eric Oppitz (shown here with his wife Lauren) won the Ann Arbor city-wide contest to redesign their “I Voted” sticker.  His design will be distributed at all polling places in the city during the 2020 election and stickers will be mailed with all absentee ballots sent out.  Along with the pride of seeing thousands of citizens proudly displaying his design, Eric also received a $500 prize.  At the presentation by City Council, he declared

I wanted to take this opportunity to support a voting rights organization by donating this money.   The LWV of Ann Arbor speaks to the issues I support, such as redistricting, auto registration, and the request of absentee ballots.

The League of Women Voters thanks Eric for his generous donation.  We look forward to seeing lots of stickers on lapels come August 4 and November 3.

Winners of the contest were featured in a June 15 article in M Live.
