The League will host Kathy Friedrichs and Carolyn Madden, who will present The Prosecutor’s Office-Why You Should Care. The presentation will include a slide show and discussion about the role of the prosecutor in our criminal justice system and how change in the culture of the prosecutor's office can bring a more equitable and restorative approach to our justice system.
Carolyn Madden is Advocacy Director on the Board for the Ann Arbor League of Women Voters and a member of the LWVMI Advocacy Committee. She is a founding member of Friends of Restorative Justice of Washtenaw County and has a JD from Wayne State University.
Kathy Friedrichs is a member of the Ann Arbor LWV, a trained mediator and circle keeper through the Dispute Resolution Center and an active member of Friends of Restorative Justice of Washtenaw County and Challenging Racism at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor.
