The League of Women Voters Oakland Area hosts non-partisan candidate forums for contested Primary and General Elections (in LWVOA's service area). The candidate forums give voters the opportunity to ask questions directly of the candidates and hear their answers.

The candidate forums are scheduled in the months preceding the election and the schedule is published on this website, in local newspapers, on social media, and in city/township calendars. Candidate forums are recorded and the recordings are posted on this site.
