"Beyond Banning Books - Protect Your Right to Read "

at the Bloomfield Township Public Library 

The national trend of attempting to ban books and holding library funding hostage are real threats to our democracy. 

Library Director, Tera Moon, will provide an update on what's happening locally and nationally with challenges to books and reading in public libraries.  

Ms. Moon will also share possible actions you may take to protect your right to read. President of the Library Board of Trustees Dani Gillman will also share thoughts on this important topic. 

This event is open to the public. 

LWV members are encouraged to bring a family member

and/or a friend to learn about this important topic. 

Light refreshments will be provided.
