Throughout the United States, millions of men, women and children are trafficked - including in our own community. Human trafficking encompasses all forms of compelled labor or services, including commercial sex acts. Learn more about human trafficking, including the types of trafficking, indicators, legal remedies and services available in Washtenaw County.
Elizabeth Campbell is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan School of Law and the co-director of the Human Trafficking Clinic. Campbell's research and teaching focus on human trafficking, immigration, domestic violence, and criminal law. In addition to her teaching duties, she regularly trains attorneys, law enforcement, medical professionals, and social services providers on assessing and identifying victims of human trafficking, as well as best practices in providing comprehensive legal services to victims.
