Midterm Elections are Coming!

Tuesday, November 2 is Election Day! Early voting begins on Saturday, October 24, 2026 and runs through Sunday, November 1, 2026. For poll locations and hours, visit the early voting page on the Westchester County Board of Elections website.

Recently moved? Recently turned 18? October 24 is the deadline to change your address or to register to vote in the primaries. . For details, go to https://elections.ny.gov/voter-registration-process.

Your fall 2026 ballot will contain more races because of the New York Even Election Year law which moved many local races to even, rather than odd, election years. To learn what's on your ballot for other useful election information, use the League's Vote411 website.

Now Live! Membership Renewal Through LWVUS ChapterSpot Portal

Recent changes created a new procedure for joining the League or renewing your membership. Memberships are handled through the LWVUS platform Chapter Spot. Memberships are now be rolling - expiring on the date of joining, or for members who predated the new system, on December 31. LWVUS will send you a renewal notice a few months prior to your membership expiration. This new membership renewal structure has shifted the membership category definitions to LWVUS - there will no longer be family memberships and each family member must join as an individual in the future. But don't worry - because the new LWVUS system allows you to pay what you can afford (subject to a minimum), you can elect to give your second family member the "additional member" discount that you have been receiving.
