Attacks on voting rights have reached alarming levels leading up to the November 2020 election, the first election we’ll conduct during a pandemic. Efforts to discredit absentee balloting, reduce the number of drop boxes and polling places, and even to slow the mails have raised anxiety among many citizens that their votes will not count in this all-important election year.

 

Our Speaker will be Diana Raimi, of counsel with the law firm of Jaffe Raitt Heuer & Weiss PC in the practice areas of Business Law, Family Law and Real Property. A member of the American Civil Liberties Union, Ms. Raimi is involved in the ACLU voter protection efforts.
