The state Board has approved the formation of a state wide Voter Services Committee. If this is the right time for you to work on voter services from the state level, contact  mary.coltrane [at] lwvwa.org

 

Two VS projects stand out at the moment:  a workshop in late April/early May and a revision of the tabloid, “Your Vote.”

 

The workshop will take shape based on committee and board interest and will be oriented to League members and/or the public.

 

The Your Vote revision will be spear-headed by Linnea Hirst, past state League President.

 

The focus will be on describing the full breadth of the electoral process. It will answer all the questions that have been floating in the public mind for the last ---- who-knows-how long. The intent is to have an education tool that will inspire confidence in our electoral process and deal with attacks on it.
