Nancy attended the Climate Reality Project’s virtual training in the spring of 2021 after having an in-person training cancelled due to COVID in 2020. She has spent the last several months putting together a presentation that is based on “why”.  Why am I doing this work at my age?  Why is climate change happening and why does it impact us here in the Pacific Northwest and more specifically in Mason County?  Finally, why is there still hope in the face of the increasing number of extreme weather events?  She has put together a handout of things that individuals can do to help limit greenhouse gases; but to stem climate change, major lifestyle and policy changes must be enacted.
