• Equal pay for people doing the same job?
• Protection from and accountability for gender-based violence from police officers, schools and universities, and places of employment?
• Parental leave so that moms are not discriminated against for pregnancy?
• Maternal health benefits so that women in the U.S., particularly women of color, do not lose their lives in childbirth?

While the majority of Americans believe that women and men should have equal rights and be equally protected by the U.S. Constitution—we have not achieved either. So many of our greatest challenges are rooted in this disparity.
