Are you ready to hunt?
To help commemorate the Village of Roselle’s 100th anniversary, the League of Women Voters presents, the Democracy Rocks Treasure Hunt.
The Democracy Rocks Treasure Hunt is designed to teach children eight important lessons about our democracy - and encourage adults to vote in the primary election on Tuesday, June 28.
How does this Treasure Hunt thing work?
Step 1 - Print your copy of the Democracy Rocks Treasure Hunt Log & Map (or pick up a copy in the lobby of Village Hall or at Juice & Berry). Enter the Child's name, age, phone number, and email address on the left-hand side of the Treasure Hunt Log Sheet.
Step 2 - Using the Treasure Map, walk around Roselle Town Center to find the eight painted rocks/art installations with the Democracy Rocks Civics Tags. On the back of each tag is a message about our democracy!
Step 3 - Record the missing word(s) from the back of the Civics Tag on your Treasure Hunt Log Sheet.
Step 4 - After you find all eight art installations, head to a computer and use the DuPage or Cook County election website to find the polling location name for your address.
