A presentation about the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact

Every voter in every state should have an equal vote in every presidential election. The NPV guarantees that the electoral college and the presidency will be won by the candidate who wins the most popular votes in all 50 states and DC.

 LWVMI strongly supports bills currently before the Michigan legislature that would require the Presidential election to be determined by the national popular vote total, rather than the electoral college. This presentation explains the Compact and compares it to using the electoral college.
