We appreciate your ongoing support of the League of Women Voters Metro Columbus. For 105 years it has been the mission of the League of Women Voters to encourage informed and active participation in government, working to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influencing public policy through education and advocacy. Due to the increasing partisan divide, nation-wide voter suppression legislation, and district gerrymandering, the nonpartisan nature of the League is instrumental to ensuring that citizens have equal access to voting.

In 2025 the League is hard at work getting out the vote in Central Ohio—including registering voters at festivals and events, holding candidate forums, publishing the Vote 411 Voter Information Bulletin in print and online, and working with area high school students on the importance of voting. In addition, LWVMC is prioritizing Ohio advocacy issues that align with our positions, including inclusivity & honesty in Ohio’s education system, preventing gun violence, criminal sentencing reform, and other areas of racial equity and social justice. All of these activities depend on member volunteers and financial support!
