Our committees provide focused leadership and expert guidance in key areas like finance, governance, fundraising, and programming. They support the board with well-informed recommendations and help ensure thoughtful, strategic decisions. Committees also offer meaningful opportunities for members and volunteers to get involved. They often serve as a training ground for future board leaders and deepen engagement in our mission. League advocacy is grounded in informed member consensus. Through local, state, and national studies, members examine issues from multiple angles before a position is adopted. These positions then guide our lobbying and civic education efforts.
